Motorola Moto G54 5G specifications

Display: The Moto G54 features a 6.5-inch FHD+ LED display with a 120Hz refresh rate and a 240Hz touch sampling rate. The phone also includes HDR10 support, offering up to 1000 nits of peak brightness. It sports a Full HD+ 20:9 (2400 x 1080) resolution display with slim bezels and a punch-hole camera, providing ample screen space.

Processor and software: The Moto G54 is powered by the MediaTek Dimensity 7020 processor, one of the most powerful chipsets in its segment. It is also the company’s first phone to feature this chipset in the price range. The Dimensity 7020 chipset is said to empower gaming smartphones with HyperEngine 5.0 lite. The Vivo Y77t, which was launched in China in August, also runs on the same chipset.

Similar to other Motorola smartphones, the Moto G54 offers a clean software experience. It comes with Android 13 and will receive an update to Android 14 in the future. Additionally, the phone will come with some proprietary apps and features, including Moto Secure, Family Space, and more.

Cameras: For many years, Motorola has adhered to a dual-camera system. However, with recent launches, the company began offering a triple-camera system. Surprisingly, with the Moto G54, the company has returned to a dual rear camera setup, featuring a 50-megapixel main camera and an 8-megapixel secondary camera for autofocus. Notably, Motorola has not included an additional macro or depth camera in this model, despite offering Macro Vision, Ultrawide angle, and a depth sensor. On the front, there’s a 16-megapixel camera for selfies and video calls.

Battery: Under the hood, the Moto G54 comes equipped with a 6,000mAh battery that supports 33W turbo charging. Notably, the box includes a 33W turbo charger.

Motorola Moto G54 5G features

Firstly, Motorola is offering the Dimensity 7020 chipset, which comes with HyperEngine Game Technology designed to provide the best gaming experience, making this a budget phone for gaming enthusiasts. The higher storage variant is also the first in its price range to offer 12GB LPDDR4X RAM and 256GB UFS 2.2 storage, creating a complete performance package.

The Moto G54 comes with Motorola’s Spatial sound, offering a 3D sound effect further enhanced by the Dolby Atmos stereo sound system.

Additionally, the 50-megapixel camera system is equipped with OIS (optical image stabilization) support, which reduces blurring associated with slight movements or unwanted shakes of the device during exposure, resulting in clearer low-light photos and smoother videos. The new-gen camera also features a new Ultra Pixel Sensor, providing 1.5 times larger pixels for ultra-vivid shots. The camera further includes features like dual capture and auto smile capture, enhancing the photo-capturing experience. In addition, its secondary 8-megapixel autofocus camera can also capture macro photos.

Keeping up with the 5G revolution, the phone offers Dual SIM 5G support and supports 14 5G bands.

Its color options include Midnight Blue, Pearl Blue, and Mint Green.

Additionally, the Moto G54 flaunts an elegant design with an ultra-premium 3D PMMA finish for overall protection. It is 8.89 mm thin and weighs only 189 grams, making it lightweight. It also comes with an IP52 rating, making the design water-repellent.
